We go here almost every weekend and the food never disappoints! Anything on the menu is available for breakfast...I suggest the Chicken Albondigas! My hunny had the breakfast tacos with a bean tostada and I had the chicken albondigas and tostada. They have menudo both red and white and awesome! The servers are so friendly, you feel you've known them for years. Go try it!

A wonderful breakfast! I HAD THE tamale breakfast with 2 eggs, beans and tortillas. The tortillas were amazing! Our server was so pleasant and prompt. I highly recommend it, but it is a small place and on Sunday it was really busy!

Great authentic dishes. Everything was made fast and delicious. Great tamales. Service was super fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Great Mexican food in Tucson usually requires a trip to south Fourth Ave. this place meets and beats some of my 50 year favorites.

After years of driving by, I finally went today for lunch. OMG! Food is fantastic. Got a fried chicken taco and chile rellenos, delicious! I will be back soon to try other items. Waitress (sorry I didn’t get her name) was the best I have had in a while, very attentive.

Bueno! Eastside folks, we have struggled to get great authentic Mexican food to match the good La Mesa tortillas! It is here, Cristian and his family are making Mexican food from scratch, real chile sauces, and the salsa ... delicious. The beans and rice like my mother's.????????

I love this place! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Really everything is fabulous here. I've never had anything bad. Today I ordered the machaca breakfast which includes three eggs and the machaca. I asked for cheese on top no trouble. I got one panty egg on the side, slower tortilla, Home fries with green and red bell peppers and onions. Coffee with fresh 2% milk. Everything is 100% delicious!!! And the service is great everybody is happy pleasant and cheerful and friendly! They really treat clients as customers here! This is one place I know I can go anytime and have great food and service any time, no matter what I order! Don't forget to try the burria too!!

Been wanting to check out this little Cafe for awhile now, and so glad we finally stopped in. After 11am they start you off with a free basket of warm chips and salsa. So good! We decided on the Green Chile & Cheese (4 egg) omelet with home fries and grilled peppers and the Mexi Omelet with 4 "small" (according to the menu) pancakes. Everything was so good...especially the pancakes. The waiter (who's name I forgot to ask) was super attentive and provided amazing service. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out this locally owned gem.
